Film Projects
from advertisements to music videos, horror films and live shows.
A collection of some of the video projects I've worked on.

CURL
Project Rollout that is still on going. An all encompassing rollout to support singles, music videos that are currently in production, and an eventual EP. We're using word of mouth, social media advertisement, and unique real world marketing stunts to elevate this local band's brand beyond their current level.
Working with the band, we've fallen into an amazing work flow where the best ideas win and are rapidly executed and iterated upon to produce the best results, an incredibly collaborative and fun process

Fork and Fire
The results of a day of shooting at Fork and Fire in Plano.
I got a couple fun shots of drinks, and shot a couple of video ads that I got practice editing and made some music for.

Party With You
A music video I filmed for Artist Gallowayyys.
We were trying to capture a very punk rock grungy aesthetic. My friend Savior Woods served as assistant director the first major night of shooting and we got some incredible shots skating and running around downtown. The second night we got the whole cast together and I directed the studio scenes where we tried to bring that grungy outside aesthetic inside into the clean white space. We played with lots of projection and experimental lighting to achieve a really unique feeling for the video.

Touch of Paris Christmas Ad
An Advertisement I filmed with my friend Julian for his parents art gallery. We got the shots together in a day, and then I made the music and edited the video and had it all together really fast, just in time for Christmas!

Dreamfest
A series of live shows that I helped advertise, operate, and film with Donovan Bogney and Sherman Cliffton

Made by Dreamers
The debut album/ mixtape of my friend Sherman Clifton AKA ShermSTX, I designed the cover art, produced teasers, and filmed and edited a trilogy of music videos to support the album

Dreamer Boy
A video I made with my friend Donovan Bogney for his song "Dreamerboy"

Gallowayyys Visual Album
Initially intended to be a 5 song visual Album for my friend Gallowayyys, there were a couple music videos that did release, but the film as a whole didn't quite come together due to time and budget constraints. This weekend road trip yielded enough cool art to support that era of music though and give a glimpse into a larger cinematic vision for the project and its singles.

The Squeeze
The absurdist talkshow that I've written with my friend Spencer Mead.
We Produced a Pilot when I was fresh out of high school, and have worked on and off honing the scripts and planning for a fully produced first season. Filming this original pilot was incredibly educational and fun. We had to find a cast and crew and manage every aspect of production. Since I was acting, Spencer was the cinematographer and I took the lead on set design, we thrifted furniture and I painted the big lemons the night before the shoot.
Over the next year we edited and cut and recut the episode a dozen different ways, filmed little pickups and scenes to react to our mistakes and add extra jokes. All of our hard work culminated in a premiere at the Vine cinema where we sold enough tickets to turn a small but respectable profit.
Our new Episode 1 script has been officially selected at several film festivals!

Blood
This was some quick album art and a teaser for a track titled "Blood" produced by Kilo Beats, featuring ShermSTX and JKB.
I thought this project was really cool because I was able to do the whole thing from home in a couple hours. I made some fake blood with food dye and chocolate sauce, and took apart some white shelves I had, to paint on. After I set up the studio lights I basically filmed the process of making the cover art and was able to cut together a neat little teaser video for the whole thing.
A memorable little single rollout in a quick creative evening

BURBS
An absurd, improvisational, horror sketch-comedy show that I created with my friends Nathan Marshall, Nick Solomon, Danny Cartagena, and Spencer Mead.
Burbs served as a sketchpad for ideas and experiments as I honed my skills with a camera, and editing in general. We produced two full half hour episodes that really serve more as a season of shorts.
The show went on a hiatus as members of the team moved to different countries, returned to school and the covid pandemic hit
